Terms and Conditions

Parties

  • META FREIGHT: META FREIGHT is a software company with registration number 1311. They own and develop the META FREIGHT software, and will be referred to as “META FREIGHT” from now on.
  • User: Any individual or entity that uses META FREIGHT’s services will be referred to as a ‘User’ moving forward, whether they are a natural person or a legal entity.

Preliminary obligations

  •  META FREIGHT has designed the META FREIGHT program to facilitate and expedite the transportation of goods, subject to specific conditions that will be outlined below. These conditions constitute a contract between the driver and META FREIGHT.

    • This contract is governed by the laws of Canada. In the event of any dispute that cannot be resolved through peaceful means, both parties agree to refer the matter to the official judicial authorities of Canada for resolution.
    • By using the META FREIGHT software, the User agrees to all the conditions outlined in this contract. It is the User’s responsibility to read and understand these conditions, and any claim based on lack of knowledge will be considered invalid.
    • The services and rules of the program may be updated and changed over time, and these changes will be communicated to the User through the program itself. The User’s continued use of the program indicates their consent and acceptance of any changes made to the program’s services and rules.
    • The META FREIGHT company retains all intellectual and material rights to this program.
    • All individuals and entities who own a commercial vehicle fleet can use this program for free by providing the required documents and information as requested by the program.

Financial obligations

  • The cost of transporting goods is determined through an agreement between the shipper and the driver. After an agreement has been made, neither party has the right to object to the transportation cost.
  • If the User intentionally or unintentionally causes harm to META FREIGHT or damages META FREIGHT’s reputation, META FREIGHT has the right to seek damages through legal channels and revoke the User’s access to the app.
  • META FREIGHT is not responsible for payments made outside of the META FREIGHT payment portals that cannot be tracked. If any problems arise, the User is responsible for resolving the issue.

Service tariff

  • At present, the META FREIGHT app is free for all individuals and entities to use. META FREIGHT reserves the right to refuse service based on business priorities. In the future, META FREIGHT may begin charging Users for services provided. Any changes to the pricing structure will be announced on this page before they are implemented.

Non-financial obligations

  • In order to use this program, Users must have access to a smart mobile phone and the internet.
  • The User agrees to use their user account only for the shippers and driver registered under that account.
  • The User cannot send a fleet or driver to the loading location that does not match the information registered in the user account.
  • The User agrees not to use any information provided by META FREIGHT, before, during, or after the transportation of goods, without the express consent of META FREIGHT.
  • The User agrees to arrive at the loading location in a timely manner and under suitable conditions, in accordance with the conventional conditions and transportation rules.
  • META FREIGHT may share personal data with other entities in the following circumstances, and Users will not be able to file complaints in these cases:
    1. Upon receiving orders from judicial authorities and authoritative legislative and executive institutions
    2. Track the program’s development process.
    3. If the program is sold to another natural or legal person, or ownership of the program is transferred.
  • The User agrees not to engage in any activity that violates the laws of Canada, whether related to the transportation process or not.
  • The User agrees not to transport illegal goods that violate the laws of Canada.
  • META FREIGHT is not liable for any user behavior that is considered a crime under the laws of Canada.
  • The user is committed to providing honest and accurate information to META FREIGHT and informing META FREIGHT of any changes to their information as soon as possible. META FREIGHT will not be responsible for any damages caused by the user providing false or inaccurate information.
  • META FREIGHT is not responsible for any commercial vehicle accidents that occur during the transportation process, and the relevant authorities and insurance companies will handle any legal or financial issues related to the accident.
  • META FREIGHT cannot be held responsible for the non-fulfillment of tax and trade duties by the user, and any damages resulting from such non-fulfillment are the sole responsibility of the user. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that they fulfill all legal obligations related to their use of the program.
  • The user is responsible for safeguarding their username and password for their user account, as well as any information or services associated with their user account in the program. The user must take appropriate measures to prevent any natural or legal person from unauthorized use of their user account.
  • The user is solely responsible for all activities carried out within the program using their account.
